I first met Bethany in my freshman year and although we were not super close friends, she was definitely one of the sweetest and most genuine people I had ever met. She always had a smile on her face and never failed to cheer someone up. During sophomore year, I did not have any classes with her so I never really got to see her, but we would occasionally pass each other in the hallways and wave. This year, we had AP Chem and Calc together, so we saw each other a lot more and became good friends. Those classes were my two most challenging, and Bethany was always there to help me understand the topics and reviewed all the material with me during lunches when everyone else wanted to talk about other(more fun) things. No matter how many times I would not understand and she would have to re-explain things to me, she would never get mad or annoyed, and was happy to help. We would bond over our Korean lunches and we would talk to each other about our favorite Korean foods. Since I knew it was one of her favorites, I always recommended her new restaurants to try and various foods, too. And it was nice to have a friend to talk to about those simple things that no one else would understand or know what I am talking about. She was the type of person you could talk to about anything and she would never judge. I will forever miss her presence that never failed to fill the room with laughter and our times together whether we were just walking to classes together, eating our lunches and chatting, or the times she would patiently explain things over and over to me. I miss you so much Bethany <3
